The mission
A clearer picture of a child’s day
Sensori is a soft printed fabric band holding a small sensor pod, paired with an app for parents. It turns heart rate, movement and sleep into a simple picture of a child’s day, with gentle suggestions for what might help.
It’s for every child, designed with sensory needs in mind. It isn’t a medical device: it never diagnoses or treats anything.
Designed end to end, from onboarding and pairing the band to daily insights.
The app learns what’s usual for each child before it suggests anything.
Key-moment alerts are off by default, so parents choose what reaches them.
How are things going today?
Home answers the question every parent asks first. Emotions turns heart rate and movement into a gentle read of the day, in words like ‘seems’ and ‘may’, never alarms.
Ideas that help right now
When a child seems overwhelmed, full of energy or ready to wind down, the app offers two or three ideas to try, and the ones that helped before come first. Breathing exercises and calming sounds are a tap away, and every activity done together earns a star that’s never taken away.
Compared with what’s usual, not a target
Sleep and activity are measured against the child’s own baseline, so a parent can spot a good night or a quieter day without judgement.
Calm by design
Every word and colour was chosen to keep parents calm. The app has no red, no exclamation marks and no urgency words, and it talks about stress signals rather than meltdowns.
Privacy is just as deliberate. No diagnosis is asked for at sign-up, there’s one child per account, and data is stored only on the parent’s phone.
